Beacon installed 0.5 metres above the fence, visible from anywhere in the area.

Green or off: aircraft on the ground, you may move through. Amber: flight in progress, do not approach the enclosure. Red: fault in the drone, the dock or the enclosure — do not enter, and report it.

Personnel working at the field do not check a dashboard before walking up to an enclosure. The beacon tells them from a distance whether they can pass or not.

It pairs with presence sensors that record who approaches the enclosure, and when.

Status is never conveyed by colour alone: each situation has its own matching indication.
